Robby is originally an aircraft engineer from the Netherlands with a wealth of experience in the aviation sector. He started his career in the Netherlands at Fokker Aircraft NV, where he developed his abilities and made contributions to many internal projects.

Robby decided to move to Australia in 2001, seeking for new possibilities and challenges. he moved to Sydney and took an unexpectedly detour by enrolling in an arts college. He was able to explore his creative side and gain a wider outlook on life. He did, however, develop a passion for finance, which ultimately caused him to change directions in his professional life.

Robby has been working in the finance sector for more than 15 years. In 2013 he took on the role of General Manager with an Australian Fintech company from due to his outstanding leadership abilities and smart financial knowledge. In this role, he spearheaded strategic initiatives, driving the company's growth and fostering innovation within the industry. From 2015 until 2020, he was also a successful financial advisor, giving clients who were trying to figure out the complicated world of investments and financial planning useful advice. Robby used his knowledge to help people reach their financial objectives and make educated financial decisions.

But in 2021, Robby started a new business because he wanted to affect people’s lives more directly. He made the decision to become a mortgage broker, establishing his own business called My Broker Guy, drawing on his training, skills and background in finance .

Robby sought to provide individuals trying to navigate the complicated world of real estate financing with customised mortgage solutions using his training, experience, and dedication to client satisfaction.

As Robby immersed himself in the mortgage broking industry, he quickly identified a specific niche that captured his attention - SMSF (Self-Managed Superannuation Fund) lending. Recognising the massive potential for individuals to leverage their Superannuation funds for property investments, Robby founded SMSF Mortgage Specialists in early 2023. This dedicated venture allowed him to focus exclusively on assisting clients in utilising their Superannuation money wisely to invest in property.

Robby is currently focused on growing and strengthening the services provided by SMSF Mortgage Specialists.
